Description

You will design, engineer, and commission integrated audio, video, and control systems for broadcast and AV applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions and conceptual engineering design specifications based on client requirements.
• Create detailed documentation including block diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, and equipment lists using AutoCAD.
• Manage project lifecycles by estimating manpower, determining material needs, and creating scopes of work.
• Design and program control systems, digital signal processors, routers, and mixers.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless connectivity and system integration through final commissioning.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in broadcasting or AV engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for mapping project needs and crafting complex block diagrams for streaming and camera systems.
• Experience with A/V systems installation and technical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience testing and programming digital signal processors, routers, and mixers.
• Proficiency in Office 365, Windows, and Salesforce CRM.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in environments requiring construction knowledge.
• CTS (CTS-I, CTS-D), Q-Sys, Extron, or AVIS PL certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Background in theater, audio setup, or banquet management.
