Description

You provide technical diagnostic support and vehicle maintenance expertise to client dealerships, focusing on embedded software and mechanical components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic tests on vehicle mechanical components and engines using specialized software.
• Provide direct technical support to dealerships regarding diagnostic software and hardware issues related to specific vehicle modules.
• Triage ECU software log events, specifically for Infotainment and Connectivity modules, and collaborate with engineers to identify root causes.
• Manage Technical Service Requests (TSR) by validating input data, maintaining databases, and ensuring timely escalation or closure.
• Communicate complex automotive problems and repair solutions clearly to vehicle owners and dealership technicians.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics or mechanical repair.
• Proficiency with embedded automotive software.
• Hands-on experience with PCM and APIM systems.
• Ability to perform preliminary triage of ECU (Electronic Control Units) software log events.
• Strong ability to multitask between diagnostic tools and database management systems.
• Proven skill in resolving complex technical inquiries via phone and email.
• High attention to detail for validating historical issue data and system information.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infotainment module diagnostics.
