AutoCAD Technician

You will produce and maintain technical drawings for construction projects using AutoCAD. You will own the creation of 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications, updating them with revisions throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure all drawings comply with technical, safety, and quality standards while collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet objectives. You will also maintain accurate project documentation and conduct site visits to collect data and locate grading markers.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements and specifications.
• Update drawings with revisions or changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all drawings comply with technical, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and CAD files.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data and locate grading markers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD or Computer Aided Design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for technical drawing and plan creation.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
• Ability to apply engineering principles and material knowledge to calculate costs and check feasibility.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Project Management.
