Description

Design and implement automated driving systems and software logic to ensure safety concepts are integrated into the software design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ADS systems and software logic using C/C++ based on specific design requirements.
• Build, test, and verify logic to ensure safety concepts are integrated into the software design.
• Create and utilize support tools using Python code.
• Support software quality reviews and audits to maintain compliance with internal processes and standards.
• Collaborate with client IT infrastructure groups to develop advanced driver assist and autonomous drive systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with dynamics-based vehicle simulation.
• Experience developing software in team settings, including pull requests and peer reviews.
• Experience developing code on Linux platforms and writing shell scripts.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience using plotting tools such as plot.ly, bokeh, or matplotlib.
• Experience using cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with spec and requirements writing and software documentation.
• Experience with time-series databases.
• Valid US driver's license.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ADAS, GIT, SILs, Bluetooth, CANoe, or CANalyzer.
