Description

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end automation frameworks for web and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones using Java or Python.
• Select and evaluate technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to meet automation requirements.
• Implement API automation using RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or Karate.
• Develop web automation solutions using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bamboo and manage version control with GitHub or Bitbucket.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in test automation architecture and engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for web automation.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as RestAssured, Karate, or JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber.
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and reporting tools (Allure).
• Ability to create automation proofs of concept and present to stakeholders.
• Experience guiding offshore teams and improving automation metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe automation using Python Robot Framework.
• Mobile automation experience with Appium or Katalon Studio.
• Knowledge of payments and cards domain or legacy to cloud migration.
