Description

You will own the test automation strategy and framework for web, API, and desktop applications. You lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure consistent adoption of quality standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core test automation framework using Java and Python.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to accelerate delivery.
• Embed Report Portal for test reporting and analytics, tracking coverage, defect leakage, and ROI.
• Govern automation standards and best practices, providing technical leadership to engineers.
• Assess automation feasibility for new features and recommend appropriate tools and resources.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in core test automation and software quality assurance.
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Python for automation scripting.
• Proficiency in Selenium for web UI automation and Rest Assured for API testing.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control and pipeline management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and continuous integration pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex automation failures.
• Ability to define and track automation KPIs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
