Description

You will own the test automation strategy and framework for web, API, and desktop applications, leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core test automation framework using Java and Python.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps to accelerate delivery.
• Embed Report Portal for test reporting, tracking coverage, defect leakage, and ROI.
• Govern automation standards and best practices, providing technical leadership to engineers.
• Assess automation feasibility for new features and recommend appropriate tools and resources.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in core test automation and software quality assurance.
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Python for automation scripting.
• Proficiency with Selenium for web UI automation and Rest Assured for API testing.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control and pipeline management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and continuous integration pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex automation failures.
• Ability to define and track automation KPIs and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with desktop application automation.
• Strong background in mentoring and technical leadership.
