Description

You will build Python-based automation tools and conversion scripts for large-scale document processing and XML transformation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Python-based ETL-style conversion workflows to process unstructured and semi-structured content.
• Implement XML transformation logic using XSLT and XPath queries.
• Develop validation pipelines using XSD, DTD, and Schematron.
• Create rule-based data cleanup and normalization scripts for content restructuring.
• Design reusable automation pipelines for document extraction and parsing.

Required Skills

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Python automation and script development.
• Expertise in XML technologies including XSLT, XPath, DTD, and XSD.
• Proficiency with Python libraries such as lxml, xmlschema, saxonpy, or saxonche.
• Experience with document parsing using python-docx, pdfminer.six, PyMuPDF, or pdfplumber.
• Knowledge of OCR and layout detection using pytesseract, OCRmyPDF, or LayoutParser.
• Skill in content normalization using re, BeautifulSoup, or pandas.
• Practical experience with Git for version control.
• Ability to write maintainable, modular code for processing structured and unstructured data.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker.
• Exposure to aerospace schemas like S1000D or iSpec 2200.
