Description

Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows to enhance cybersecurity solutions using Cortex XSOAR.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and refine Cortex XSOAR automation requirement specifications.
• Develop playbooks that pull Active Directory data and execute complex calls into Splunk tables for data enrichment.
• Integrate Splunk with XSOAR to automate workflows and deduplicate alerts within a 72-hour period.
• Lead knowledge transfer sessions and mentor staff on XSOAR development best practices.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in automation development using Cortex XSOAR, Python, and Splunk.
• Proficiency in Python programming and Splunk query language.
• Hands-on experience with the Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR platform.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and practices.
• Experience using version control, testing, and debugging tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Cortex XSOAR, Python, or Splunk.
