Key Responsibilities

Bring up and validate multi-GPU AI/HPC server platforms covering CPU, GPU, memory, NICs, and storage.

Execute functional, regression, stress, performance, and compatibility testing.

Validate GPU enumeration, PCIe connectivity, firmware combinations, BIOS/BMC configurations, and driver releases.

Run multi-GPU and multi-node benchmarks to evaluate bandwidth, latency, scalability, and system stability.

Monitor GPU utilization, power consumption, thermals, memory health, and platform performance.

Perform root cause analysis of hardware, firmware, BIOS, driver, and system-level failures.

Collect and analyze system, BMC, and driver logs and submit reproducible defect reports.

Prepare test plans, test cases, coverage matrices, and release validation reports.

Collaborate with BIOS, firmware, platform, driver, OEM/ODM, and silicon partner teams.

Track defects using Jira and support release milestones, including weekends and extended hours when required.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

GPU Platform Validation: Data center GPU driver installation, GPU enumeration, firmware compatibility, PCIe topology, and link validation.

Server & BIOS Validation: Server bring-up and validation on Dell PowerEdge, Supermicro, or HPE platforms.

Firmware & Driver Validation: BIOS, BMC, IFWI, firmware compatibility, and upgrade/downgrade testing.

Workload Testing: Functional, regression, stress, stability, thermal, power, memory, and GPU utilization testing.

AI/HPC Validation: AI/HPC workloads, GPU burn-in, performance characterization, and multi-GPU system validation.

Linux: Strong hands-on experience with Ubuntu/RHEL, OS installation and imaging, driver setup, CLI diagnostics, and log analysis.

Debugging & RCA: Troubleshooting boot/POST hangs, reset failures, PCIe enumeration issues, link drops, and hardware/firmware/driver failures.

Automation & Reporting: Python or shell scripting, log analysis, defect tracking, and validation reporting.

Networking: Working knowledge of PCIe, high-speed NICs, RDMA, and GPU data paths.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

12+ years of hardware/software validation experience, including at least 2 years of data center GPU platform validation.

Hands-on experience with data center GPUs, GPU diagnostics, server platforms, BIOS, BMC, firmware, and drivers.

Strong Linux troubleshooting, PCIe validation, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills.

Knowledge of SDLC/STLC, Agile processes, and defect management.

VMware ESXi, GPU passthrough, and GPU partitioning.

Multi-node cluster validation and collective communication benchmarks.

Python/shell-based test automation and log parsing.

Jira test management and defect tracking experience
