Description

Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts for web, API, and desktop applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts for web applications, REST/SOAP services, and Excel clients using Core Java.
• Create test plans, strategies, and cases covering functional, UI, and regression scenarios.
• Maintain traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements.
• Report bugs using standardized tools within an Agile framework.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to unify testing technologies and share knowledge.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Selenium, and WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, Page Object Model (POM), and SDET principles.
• API testing experience using Rest Assured.
• Experience automating web applications with Java/Ruby and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL (RDBMS) and DB2 database interfaces.
• Experience with GIT for version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Maven.

Preferred Skills

• Experience translating business needs into actionable test plans and processes.
