Description

Own end-to-end data migration validation and ETL testing for large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scenarios for ETL mappings, transformations, and data quality checks.
• Perform SQL-based testing to verify data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across source and target systems.
• Conduct pre- and post-conversion testing, including historical data validation and incremental loads.
• Identify data defects, document root causes, and collaborate with ETL development teams for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with business rules, transformation logic, and data governance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data migration or ETL testing.
• Proficiency with Informatica, SSIS, or DataStage.
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data profiling.
• Experience with large datasets, data warehousing concepts, and relational databases.
• Understanding of business rules, data mapping, and transformation logic.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of automation frameworks for ETL testing.
• Banking or financial domain experience.
