Description

Lead end-to-end automation projects in manufacturing, translating user requirements into functional designs and technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into functional designs and technical concepts for manufacturing processes.
• Manage end-to-end automation project execution, including project estimation and proposal preparation.
• Conduct plant assessments to define Scope of Work and Degree of Understanding.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and vendors, managing RFQ/RFI processes and quote evaluations.
• Lead team processes to provide technical solutions for assembly line automation and manufacturing problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing automation and custom engineered solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Automation, Fanuc Robots, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Strong knowledge of robotics, collaborative robots, and linear motion systems.
• Experience in assembly, pick and place, vision, inspection, and pneumatic automation cell integration.
• Proficiency in fixture design, SPM, testing machines, and low-cost automation.
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) communication protocols and safety integration.
• Ability to perform value stream mapping and lead lean manufacturing initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in business development and coordinating with sales teams for project wins.
• Background in system integration solutions for factory automation.
