Drive automation capabilities for our core platform testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to write test cases within Agile/Scrum.
• Develop test plans by reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Improve the test automation framework for the platform's growing suite of APIs and UIs.
• Contribute to the BDD framework using Jira input or Gherkin feature files to generate test data.
• Log bugs and take full ownership of follow-up to ensure corrective action is taken.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software test engineering or development focused on test automation.
• 2+ years as a Lead Test Automation Engineer using Playwright with JavaScript and Serenity framework.
• 5+ years of experience automating Web and API testing.
• 5+ years of experience with BDD and TDD to generate test cases from User Story Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience with Cucumber, TDD, and BDD frameworks.
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP services and API testing tools such as Postman or SOAPUI.
• Proficiency with source code management tools like GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Node, Docker, Serenity/SerenityJS, and Kubernetes.
• A/B Testing, Blue/Green releases, Canary releases, and Feature flags.
• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
