Description

Integrate hardware and software into automated systems, ensuring machine and system requirements are met through design, fabrication, and programming.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for machines and systems using CAD software.
• Program basic PLCs, simple robot tasks, and vision inspection systems.
• Perform weldment fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding, cutting, machining, and grinding.
• Integrate off-the-shelf hardware and software into machine designs and specifications.
• Diagnose and repair machine issues using failure mode analysis.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience in automation or mechanical engineering.
• High proficiency in CAD and modeling system software.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and drafting practices.
• Hands-on experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and lay out wiring or pneumatic diagrams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Preferred Skills

• Ability to contribute to design reviews and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience collaborating with vendors and customers to specify hardware and resolve technical issues.
