Build and maintain intelligent automation systems for Finance stakeholders, ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational readiness during critical close periods.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust automation solutions using Python, SQL, and API development, integrating AI/ML models and intelligent frameworks.
• Translate loosely defined business challenges from Finance stakeholders into structured, repeatable technical architectures.
• Design and implement data pipelines and integration patterns that move data reliably between enterprise systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations during month-end and quarter-end close periods, providing after-hours support as required.
• Ensure all systems pass enterprise compliance and audit requirements while maintaining high supportability and uptime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an automation developer or software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and API development.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML models, LLMs, or intelligent automation frameworks.
• Comfort with modern AI development tools including agentic frameworks, AI workflow builders, and vibe-coding environments (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, n8n).
• Understanding of data pipelines and integration patterns.
• Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and risks in plain language to non-engineer stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise controls, audit requirements, and compliance-driven development.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
• Domain experience in Finance, Audit, or regulated industries.
