Description

You will design and execute performance, resiliency, and observability tests to ensure scalable and fault-tolerant microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system responsiveness, stability, scalability, and resource usage.
• Conduct resiliency testing by implementing failure scenarios to validate fault tolerance and patterns like circuit breakers, bulkheads, and retries.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools to track performance metrics and logs for real-time issue diagnosis.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend resource scaling based on performance data and growth projections.
• Configure Kubernetes performance parameters, including resource limits, requests, and autoscaling policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation or performance engineering.
• Strong programming experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker.
• Experience with Cloud environments.
• Familiarity with observability and APM tools such as Splunk, ELK, or AppDynamics.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and resiliency patterns like rate limiters and fallback mechanisms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing applications on Kubernetes platforms.
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
