Description

Support data center consolidation through infrastructure automation and systems engineering.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure delivery using configuration orchestration and management tools.
• Develop scripts to support operational workflows and service restoration.
• Implement operating system hardening and standardized image templating.
• Manage compute virtualization and converged storage solutions.
• Perform incident triage, including scope determination and impact assessment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation or systems engineering.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or UNIX Shell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows systems engineering principles.
• Experience with OS hardening and deployment templating.
• Implementation of Java application servers such as JBOSS EAP or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of VMware technology stacks and Pure Storage solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with middleware solutions including IBM MQ, Kafka, or Confluent.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
