Description

You will own end-to-end network test automation, converting qualification plans into automated CI/CD conveyor nodes that gate releases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end network test cases (control-plane, data-plane, performance, stress/soak) using the in-house DNE test framework.
• Build and execute traffic-generation tests with Ixia/Keysight in lab environments.
• Onboard automated suites as CI/CD conveyor nodes (DC/BB push pipelines) to gate releases.
• Triage test failures for flakiness versus legitimate regressions and file issues for oncall resolution.
• Maintain automation, test configs, and lab tooling while collaborating with Netcastle, Routing, and FBOSS partners.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years in software/network test automation or QA engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Science and/or network engineering.
• Strong Python skills for test frameworks, scripting, and debugging.
• Hands-on networking fundamentals: BGP, routing/forwarding, L2/L3, data-plane vs. control-plane.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working in a Linux environment with source control.
• Experience with traffic generators (Ixia, Keysight, or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Open/R, BGP, ECMP/UCMP, or large-scale DC fabric topologies.
• Experience qualifying network hardware/optics or vendor NOS (e.g., Arista EOS).
