Description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing. Own the release quality process by identifying deficiencies, reporting issues, and verifying resolutions. Execute load tests and RESTful API validations to ensure product stability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java, HTML5, and XML.
• Create and manage load test scenarios using JMeter to validate performance.
• Test RESTful APIs using Postman and similar tools for functional validation.
• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework, including Cucumber integration.
• Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts to drive improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a QA automation engineer.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber for UI automation.
• Proficiency in UI Testing, Automated Testing, and Test Driven Development strategies.
• Experience executing load tests with JMeter and API testing with Postman.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, HTML5, and XML.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Ability to analyze requirements and provide timely technical feedback.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web security technology and software QA tools.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
