Description

You will provide hands-on technical support for equipment shakedown, startup, and troubleshooting operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities for Siemens-based systems.
• Perform platform qualification for Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and embedded industrial PCs.
• Support data access testing and verify MQTT broker connectivity.
• Collaborate with skid vendors to manage Siemens-related adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Provide direct controller and HMI support during the startup phase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Siemens PLCs and HMIs using TIA Portal and WinCC.
• Hands-on experience with packaged skids from Cytiva, Sartorius, or Thermo-Fisher.
• Direct experience in Life Science environments, specifically during the C&Q phase.
• Deep understanding of distributed architectures and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Familiarity with MQTT protocol and edge-device integration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate standing.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Rockwell, Proficy, CopaData, or Codeys technologies.
