Description

Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to support infrastructure requirements in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Python.
  • Create Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, deployment, and orchestration.
  • Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation scripts to improve performance.
  • Document automation workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible and Python scripting.
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Understanding of networking and security concepts.
  • Ability to document technical configurations and workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration tools beyond Ansible.
