Description

Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise network engineering monitoring platforms and core infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain management platform hardware and software across physical and virtual environments.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux distributions, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management.
• Proactively track network performance, server health, and bandwidth using monitoring tools, resolving bottlenecks before impact.
• Execute routine patch management, firmware updates, system backups, and firewall maintenance to ensure security protocols.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex network and server issues, maintaining accurate documentation for topology and configurations.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, and SMTP protocols.
• Deep hands-on experience managing Windows Server, Ubuntu, or Red Hat operating systems.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with network monitoring platforms like NNMi, HPNA, Zabbix, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of IT management platforms including Cisco Catalyst Center, BlueCat LiveNX, or Cisco ThousandEyes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network or Server, or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator.
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automating routine tasks.
