Description

You will own the end-to-end automation strategy for backend APIs, mobile UI, and performance testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute API automation for backend services across multiple cloud regions.
• Develop UI automation scripts for Android and iOS across all brands, OS versions, and generations.
• Execute load testing, including script creation and root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Support production deployments, weekly releases, and critical in-market events.
• Perform defect triage with development teams to mitigate issues identified during automation runs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Experience testing microservices (REST, gRPC) hosted on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with enterprise QA frameworks including BDD and TDD.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for documentation and dashboarding.
• Ability to work onsite in Plano, TX, five days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQTT, SSL authentication, and authentication type testing.
• Knowledge of in-car network protocols such as CAN or MOST.
• Background in connected vehicle or infotainment system validation.
