Description

You will lead automation efforts and infrastructure modernization within public cloud environments, focusing on self-healing processes and secure deployment pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate application and infrastructure deployment services for scalability and resilience.
• Design orchestration workflows and self-healing mechanisms for self-service automation.
• Develop and document operations runbooks to standardize process improvements.
• Lead the team technically and managerially, providing input on systems engineering and environment management.
• Influence cross-functional teams including Security and Operations to ensure project scope, schedule, and risk are managed effectively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of direct experience in DevOps or automation engineering.
• Software development proficiency in at least two languages: NodeJS, Python, PowerShell, Go, C#, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and operations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Scrum and Agile principles.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with global teams across varying time zones.
• Experience managing project costs, schedules, scope, and risk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Integration of CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Sonar, or Nexus.
• Experience with Policy as Code or hybrid cloud environments.
