Description

You will drive developments related to machine automation and robotics, handling projects from software development through to on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions for machine automation using Automation Studio.
• Test latest product developments and new technologies.
• Commission systems at customer sites and resolve technical issues on-location.
• Plan and monitor application development status for all assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with customers on timelines and maintain stakeholder communication until project completion.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in machine automation development and support.
• Hands-on experience with PLC, drives, control systems, motion control, and vision systems.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as ST and C.
• Ability to manage and protect B&R and customer IP.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and local languages.
• Flexibility to undertake business trips for customer site support.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience in installation and commissioning.
