Description

Design and implement cloud automation for AWS and Azure, owning infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation for cloud service provisioning across AWS and Azure environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, including shared frameworks and reusable components.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, handling repositories, merge requests, and release workflows.
• Implement and maintain cloud landing zone capabilities, including account setup and Day One baseline configurations for networking, security, and IAM.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud issues involving IAM roles, VPC networking, and automation execution failures.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS (primary) and Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform or similar IaC tools for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of IAM/RBAC models, cloud networking (VPC, DNS, routing), and security best practices.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, with preference for GitLab.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud automation or DevOps engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise landing zone architectures and multi-account/multi-subscription environments.
• Background in regulated enterprise environments with focus on governance and compliance frameworks.
