You will design and implement automation solutions for container terminal systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement software solutions for crane automation using PLCs and related systems.
• Design and deploy solutions based on customer or internal requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues during testing and customer installation phases.
• Analyze system specifications and hardware schematics to align with project needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and optimize code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant industrial automation experience.
• Expertise in ABB AC500 PLC programming or Codesys programming.
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex automation systems.
• Experience working with software interfaces, sensors, and devices.
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Fluency in English.
• University degree in automation engineering or equivalent industrial experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ABB AC800 or other PLC programming.
• Understanding of computer networks and industrial automation protocols.
• Working capability in Swedish.
