Description

You will design, build, and operate event-driven automation pipelines to integrate monitoring and ITSM platforms. Your work ensures reliable incident management, reduces operational noise, and improves system observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end API integrations between Meraki, Datadog, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow.
• Develop Python microservices for event ingestion, filtering, enrichment, correlation, and idempotent processing.
• Configure Datadog monitors, event pipelines, processors, and routing logic to enhance observability.
• Implement PagerDuty event rules, escalation paths, and ServiceNow incident/CMDB integrations.
• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and Git workflows.

Required Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in automation, integration, or platform engineering.
• 5–7+ years of strong Python development, including async programming and structured logging.
• Hands-on experience with Meraki Dashboard API, Datadog API, PagerDuty Events API v2, and ServiceNow REST/Table APIs.
• Experience implementing event-driven patterns: idempotency keys, retry logic, rate limiting, and dead letter queues.
• Proficiency with Docker containerization and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of JSON schemas, payload mapping, and correlation ID patterns.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and operational runbooks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Datadog Workflows, serverless automation, or ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure automation (Datadog, PagerDuty, ServiceNow modules).
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
