Description

Lead middleware automation initiatives and provide technical consultation across the technology domain. Design, code, test, debug, and document middleware automation projects, including upgrades and deployments. Act as an escalation point for less experienced staff and resolve technical issues while adhering to established policies and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and contribute to large-scale strategic planning.
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and meet client requirements.
• Evaluate technical procedures and technologies to drive automation efficiency.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to the team.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years of automation experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• 2+ years of Windows or Linux scripting experience.
• Deep experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to lead projects and provide clear technical direction.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ year of specific Ansible experience.
• Knowledge of web application and infrastructure automation development.
• Experience with package formats such as RPM, EXE, DMG, or MSI.
