Description

Lead the design and expansion of test infrastructure to support automated testing across multiple systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Python-based test frameworks for executing jobs, collecting results, and generating reports.
• Integrate and manage Jenkins for job execution and TestRail for reporting.
• Drive automation initiatives by converting manual test assets into automated workflows.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while contributing as an individual contributor.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in test infrastructure and automation.
• Strong Python programming skills; coding assessment required.
• Advanced experience with Pytest, including custom hooks and advanced configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and TestRail.
• Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing technical workstreams.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols.
• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto (4 days/week).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bazel or Jama.
• Familiarity with virtualization (ESXi/Proxmox).
