Description

Lead quality engineering strategy and technical implementation for news media and mobile application testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation roadmaps, frameworks, and best practices for security and performance engineering.
• Build and manage test automation infrastructure, including Selenium and Appium grids.
• Integrate performance and security testing into existing automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and coach quality engineers through technical training, documentation, and knowledge retention.
• Establish quality standards, KPIs, and metrics to drive process improvements across agile teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and QE testing across various platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in QE automation and performance testing.
• 2+ years of experience in security testing.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience implementing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Experience with API frameworks such as Rest Assured or Pactumjs.
• Experience with performance testing tools including JMeter, K6, or Speedcurve.
• Proficiency with GIT, SQL, Jenkins, Maven, and ANT.
• Experience using debugging tools like Charles or Fiddler and monitoring tools like New Relic or Datadog.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• QE, Automation, Performance, or Security testing certifications.
