Description

You will support the lead developer in writing, updating, and modifying code while providing technical support for automation tools and platforms. Your core focus is performing quality assurance, troubleshooting, and software development for automation solutions used in automotive multimedia head units. You will investigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and overall productivity, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Write, update, and modify code for automation solutions under the guidance of the lead developer.
  • Perform quality assurance, troubleshooting, and software development for automotive multimedia head unit automation.
  • Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions to users.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and overall productivity.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Python scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and solve issues.
  • Working experience with Agile methodology.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on improving tools, processes, and work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Test Automation.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with FastAPI, React/TypeScript development, or Linux environments.
  • Working knowledge of automotive media Canoe protocols, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, or hardware control scripting (I2C, GVIF, Serial).
  • Experience with cloud development (GCP, AWS) or building/training AI agents and ML models.
