Description

You will design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for software functionality and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test cases and scripts to validate application behavior.
• Collaborate with developers to define test strategies aligned with product requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects while working with engineering teams to resolve them.
• Maintain test documentation, including plans and reports, and improve automation processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge with recent experience using ES6 syntax and promises.
• Proven experience with Cypress or modern JS-based tools like Playwright or Puppeteer.
• Deep understanding of REST API technology and testing via Postman or Cypress.
• Ability to test against Swagger or other API documentation.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, filtering, and aggregating data using joins.
• Experience with Git, including branching, committing, resolving conflicts, and merging.
• Skill in debugging issues using browser developer tools.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines, or CircleCI.
• Ability to write CLI scripting using Bash or Sh to run continuous test schedules.
• Experience with SOAP APIs or migrating manual testing processes to automation.
