Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform software testing using OpenText ALM and UFT.
  • Execute test cases and automated test scripts and document testing results.
  • Manage, track, and report software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Review business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test case coverage.
  • Design and execute test cases for System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop detailed Test Plans, test scenarios, test cases, testing documentation, and results reports.
  • Identify automation issues and troubleshoot challenges during test execution.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain test scripts using VB Scripting.
  • Work with development, business, and QA teams to investigate and resolve defects.
  • Utilize automated testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Selenium, UFT, and OpenText ALM.
  • Use Jira for defect tracking, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Ensure testing activities align with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of overall software testing/QA experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with OpenText ALM and UFT.
  • 5+ years of experience executing test cases and test scripts.
  • 5+ years of experience in defect management and reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience reviewing requirements and developing test coverage for SIT, regression, and UAT.
  • 5+ years of experience designing Test Plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience with VB Scripting for creating and modifying test scripts.
  • 5+ years of experience identifying and resolving automation issues and challenges.
  • Experience with one or more automated testing tools such as:
    • Tricentis Tosca
    • Cypress
    • Selenium
    • UFT
    • OpenText ALM
  • Experience with Jira for defect management and tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent defect investigation and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
