Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for functional and regression testing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks in support of software projects.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript to validate application functionality.
• Execute and analyze CI/CD regression suites, troubleshooting failures to ensure consistent test pass rates.
• Review test cases and scripts, report product issues, and update sprint tasks in an Agile environment.
• Maintain accurate test status and coverage, ensuring high-quality releases through rigorous manual and automated testing.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript; strong proficiency in JavaScript or another programming language.
• Solid understanding of manual testing concepts, including test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience using Visual Studio Code as a primary development environment.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
• Experience executing and maintaining regression test suites, including failure analysis and debugging.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using CircleCI, for automated test execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of application workflows.
