Description

Automation Quality Engineer responsible for building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts for enterprise applications on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for enterprise applications.
• Build acceptance, integration, and regression test automation suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Ensure high code quality and maintain at least 80% or higher code coverage using tools such as Sonar or Clover.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement automation best practices within Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
• Strong programming experience using Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, BrowserStack, Bruno, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Experience with API testing frameworks such as Rest Assured.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and integrating them with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Strong experience working in TDD/BDD environments using tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, or JBehave.
• Experience with Spring-based application testing.
• Ability to execute API testing for REST and SOAP services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo.
• Knowledge of security and vulnerability scanning tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, or Fortify.
