Job Description:

We are seeking an Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with expertise in Playwright and Salesforce application testing, along with exposure to the AccelIQ automation framework/tool. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality delivery of Salesforce-based Salesbuilder solutions.

Experience

5+ years in QA / Automation

Minimum 2–3 years of Playwright automation experience

Hands-on Salesforce testing experience required

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automation test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript)

Automate Salesforce UI, workflows, and business processes ensuring end-to-end validation

Leverage AccelIQ automation tool/framework for script development and execution

Identify and maintain reusable automation components and frameworks

Execute automated regression suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines

Perform:

Functional testing

Regression testing

End-to-end testing

Collaborate with developers, BA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test coverage

Analyze defects, log them in tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, and support resolution

Validate integrations between Salesforce and dependent systems via APIs where applicable

Continuously improve automation coverage, stability, and execution efficiency

Required Skills

Strong experience in test automation using Playwright

Hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript

Experience in Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom applications)

Knowledge of UI automation, selectors, and cross-browser testing

Experience with AccelIQ or similar automation frameworks/tools

Strong understanding of:

QA processes

SDLC

STLC

Agile methodologies

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools:

JIRA

Azure DevOps (ADO)

ALM

Basic understanding of API testing

Preferred Skills

Experience in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Exposure to API automation tools (Postman, REST Assured)

Knowledge of Salesforce objects, Apex, Lightning components

Experience using BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

Banking / Financial domain experience
