Description

You design and maintain automated test suites across the full application stack, from unit tests to end-to-end scenarios.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build stable, maintainable tests for frontend interfaces and backend services using appropriate programming languages.
• Develop API and service-level tests to validate contracts, data flows, and business logic in distributed systems.
• Create test harnesses, mocks, and data strategies to enable reliable, repeatable automation.
• Diagnose and resolve test failures to improve signal quality and reduce flakiness.
• Partner with application engineers to embed testing into feature development and influence engineering quality practices.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong programming proficiency in at least one modern, widely-adopted language.
• Experience building automated tests for backend APIs, including request/response contract validation.
• Experience with automated testing of modern web-based frontend applications.
• Familiarity with version control practices and collaborative software development workflows.
• Ability to work closely with software engineers in Agile delivery teams.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with end-to-end UI test automation and strategies for reducing flakiness.
• Experience with API testing approaches, including contract testing and schema validation.
• Exposure to performance, resiliency, or reliability testing concepts.
