You maintain plant operational continuity and process reliability through technical support and engineering solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair malfunctions in electrical equipment and components.
• Design hard-wired and PLC logic control circuits for processing and packaging areas.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to increase process reliability.
• Calibrate electronic instrumentation including mass flowmeters, pressure transmitters, and control valves.
• Coordinate project installations with outside contractors and manage final inspections.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of technical support or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate degree in electrical/electronics maintenance, completed apprenticeship, or ISA Certified Control Systems Technician Level 1.
• Proficiency with RS Logix 5000, 500, and 5.
• Experience with PanelBuilder 32, RS View Studio, and Intouch graphics.
• Strong understanding of Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and VB script.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, motors, VFDs, switchgear, and servo motion controllers.
• Knowledge of network protocols including Control Net, Devicenet, DH+, Ethernet TCP/IP, and Sercos.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cognex, Keyence, or Omron vision systems.
• Current forklift certification and ability to operate scissor lifts.
