Description

Design and implement enterprise-grade automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall test automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and Development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration.
• Lead technical reviews, proof-of-concepts, and tool evaluations for continuous improvement.
• Mentor QA engineers on automation design, coding standards, and test strategy.
• Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track test effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in QA with a strong automation testing focus.
• Expertise in Selenium, Core Java, TestNG, and Rest Assured for API and UI automation.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing automation frameworks independently.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern tools like Playwright and Cypress.
• Strong understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave) and Maven.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of the test lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.
