Automation Test Engineer - API Testing

You will own the end-to-end testing process for mobile and web applications, ensuring high product quality through rigorous execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases and logical test suites for manual or automated execution.
• Develop, execute, and enhance test scripts and suites across different testing phases.
• Log, debug, and investigate system failures using tools like ADB to ensure defects are documented per project standards.
• Collaborate with developers to design specific testing strategies and transfer them into technical specifications.
• Collect and report quality metrics and detailed test reports with supporting evidence.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in software testing.
• Deep knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), methodologies, and test techniques.
• Strong expertise in manual testing and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with mobile app testing on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency with test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or TFS.
• Experience with debugging tools like ADB.
• Ability to communicate test plans and quality status to key stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing and maintaining existing automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD, and web/mobile testing tools.
• Experience in medical product testing.
