Description

You design and implement automation testing frameworks and scripts for web-based applications using Cypress, owning release quality across GUI, backend services, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation scripts using Cypress.
• Design and execute automated tests for GUI, backend services, and databases.
• Create test scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
• Execute complex test cases using ALM or JIRA.
• Apply BDD and TDD methodologies within agile workflows.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in automation testing.
• Hands-on expertise with Cypress for web-based applications.
• Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with API testing using RestAssured.
• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
• Strong ability to write SQL queries and use Unix systems with Shell scripting.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Concordia.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and QA KPIs.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience testing and automating cloud applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
