Description

You own the design, development, and maintenance of the test automation framework for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

You will write and execute automated scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java, develop BDD scenarios with Cucumber and Gherkin, and perform API testing via Postman or Rest Assured. You will validate database integrity using SQL, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and track defects in JIRA. You will analyze test results, collaborate with development teams on resolutions, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders. You will participate in Agile ceremonies and drive efforts to improve automation coverage while reducing manual testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the Selenium/Java automation framework.
• Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Execute API, UI, and database testing with SQL validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Analyze test results and collaborate on defect resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java (10+ years).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Expertise in Cucumber (BDD Framework) and Gherkin.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
• Strong SQL skills for database validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated test execution in CI/CD environments.
• Ability to provide testing metrics and quality reports.
