Description

Lead the design and implementation of advanced test automation solutions and frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a custom automation framework, including designing a DSL for manual test workflow automation.
• Develop scalable test frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop advanced testing solutions leveraging Python features like metaprogramming, decorators, and concurrency.
• Optimize test execution performance and reliability across APIs, databases, and microservices.
• Mentor team members on advanced Python techniques and automation design patterns.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on advanced Python development.
• Expertise in building frameworks using pytest, including hooks, fixtures, and plugins.
• Strong understanding of REST API testing, schema validation, and HTTP protocols.
• Proficiency in RDBMS concepts, specifically MySQL, including query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and monitoring tools like CloudWatch.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and iterative development environments.
• Familiarity with concurrency in Python (e.g., asyncio, threading).

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing domain-specific languages (DSLs) for automation.
• Familiarity with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
