Description

Lead quality assurance for mobile and embedded streaming applications through manual and automated testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Support manual and automated testing for new Android and iOS features.
• Write new test cases using TestRail to increase functional coverage.
• Collaborate with mobile engineering teams on test planning, execution, and release sign-off.
• Review functional specifications and design documents to contribute to test specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in development or quality assurance with complex applications.
• 3+ years of experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks using Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Charles.
• Experience with version control systems including Git and SVN.
• Proficiency in using XCode and Android Studio for device log extraction.
• Experience with defect management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Crashlytics and remote configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Testing experience with video-centric applications and TV STB features like Guide, VOD, and DVR.
• Knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting.
