Description

You will own the automation testing lifecycle for software features.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated API tests, validating endpoints across environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Create test strategies, plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Manage defects and track testing progress using Jira and TestRail.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Maven.
• Expertise in API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation against Oracle Databases.
• Experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and working within GitHub.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and continuous integration practices.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to solve problems independently.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
