Description

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites to ensure high-quality software delivery.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Build and maintain reliable automated test suites integrated into CI and nightly build systems.
• Execute test scripts, manage test suite execution, and generate detailed test reports.
• Perform API and database testing, including writing and running SQL queries.
• Collaborate with product managers, development leads, and QA teams to drive quality culture and resolve defects.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a functional tester.
• Extensive experience with Cypress automation framework and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and agile functional testing.
• Proficiency in API testing and database testing (SQL queries).
• Experience with defect tracking systems and change management processes.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of performance testing.
• Experience configuring technical flows and business transactions for testing.
