Description

You will own the creation and execution of automated test scripts for APIs and maintain automation suites for delivered functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using REST Assured and JUnit for API validation.
• Maintain and enhance automation script suites for existing functionality.
• Implement BDD methodology using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax.
• Ensure compliance with engineering discipline, best practices, and global IT standards.
• Collaborate within Agile/SAFe teams, performing in-sprint automation and CI/CD integration.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and working knowledge of Maven.
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured and JUnit frameworks for API testing.
• Proficiency in BDD tools, specifically Cucumber, BDD methodology, and Gherkin syntax.
• Experience with Java IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE), HTTP, JSON, and message schemas (RAML).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Groovy scripting.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and in-sprint automation.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms, preferably AWS.
