5+ years of experience in embedded software testing and validation

Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for embedded locomotive control software Perform manual and automated testing with clear evidence of requirements coverage and traceability Conduct black-box testing for embedded applications and control systems Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and alignment with system requirements Analyze system-level and subsystem-level designs to define comprehensive test scenarios Work extensively with vSIM and Hardware-in-the-Test-Loop (HITL) test setups Validate embedded systems using simulation and real-time test environments Perform integration testing and system validation to identify functional issues Validate system behavior using dynamic system models and real-world field data Support locomotive system integration and field validation activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new locomotive development and upgrades Exposure to Python for scripting, test automation, and data analysis Exposure to Linux-based development and test environments Exposure to Shell scripting for automation and debugging Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink is an added advantage
